Overview
This intensive revision course is designed to help candidates prepare for the FRCS Opth. Part
1 Examination. The course, delivered by an experienced group of senior consultants and
ophthalmologists who passed the exam themselves, will use a combination of various
teaching methods to provide the participants with a focused revision of pertinent topics.

 6 months (once/ week)
 24 Sessions

Learning objectives:
By the end of the lectures and the series of workshops
of this program, the Participants will be able to:
 Gain confidence in their preparation for the PART A
exam
 Learn correct examination techniques.

This program is suitable for:
 A graduate of a recognized medical school.

Ophthalmology
2. Optics foundational to Ophthalmology
3. Ophthalmic investigative techniques
4. Generic issues of medical practice.

Final award:
 FRCS Opth Part 1:
 Test for Part 1 is available in Egypt 2 times a year in April and October.
